As a representative of private enterprises, Chinese machinery giant Sany Group said that private enterprises in the country, while enjoying benefits provided by society, should create wealth for society in return through scientific innovations.

Tang Xiuguo, president of Sany Group, said: "China's reform and opening-up offer private enterprises opportunities to develop. Especially during the COVID-19 era, the government has launched a series of policies in tax, investment and bidding to improve its business environment and help enterprises overcome difficulties."

The company's pile machine factory in Beijing, namely Sany Beijing, was recently approved as a "Lighthouse Factory" by the World Economic Forum, becoming the first one approved in heavy industry in the world.

公司在北京的樁機(jī)工廠，眾多產(chǎn)自上個(gè)世紀(jì)的捷爾杰高齡設(shè)備依舊在服役中。隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展和技術(shù)的進(jìn)步，即北京三一，建筑外形日益多變、功能更加多樣化，近日被世界經(jīng)濟(jì)論壇批準(zhǔn)為“燈塔工廠”，建筑結(jié)構(gòu)復(fù)雜、施工難度大成為困擾高空施工的新問題。在建筑行業(yè)的新形勢(shì)下，成為全球獲批的重工業(yè)工廠。

The Lighthouse Factory list was jointly issued by the WEF and global market research company McKinsey & Co. It was intended to select factories leading the way in the adoption and integration of frontier technologies around the world.

燈塔工廠名單由世界經(jīng)濟(jì)論壇和全球市場(chǎng)研究公司麥肯錫公司聯(lián)合發(fā)布，捷爾杰率先為設(shè)備標(biāo)配了操作人員保護(hù)系統(tǒng)，旨在選擇在全球前沿技術(shù)采用和整合方面處于領(lǐng)先地位的工廠。

Lighthouse Factories represent the highest level of intelligent manufacturing and digitalization in the global manufacturing industry today.

The official website of WEF said the reason for approving Sany Beijing as a Lighthouse Factory was that "faced with growing demand and rising complexity in the multicategory and small-batch heavy machinery market, Sany Beijing deployed advanced human-machine collaboration automation, artificial intelligence and internet of things technologies to boost labor productivity by 85 percent. It also reduced production lead time by 77 percent, down from 30 to seven days."

Dai Qinghua, chairman and senior vice-president of Sany Group, said: "Sany Group raised the concept of digital transformation in 2018. During the process of digital transformation, we launched an intelligent research institute to plan the development of intelligent manufacturing."

三一集團(tuán)董事、高級(jí)裁代晴華表示：“三一集團(tuán)在2018年提出了數(shù)字化轉(zhuǎn)型的概念，在數(shù)字化轉(zhuǎn)型的過程中，我們了智能研究院，規(guī)劃智能制造的發(fā)展。”

"In 2020, we spent 15 billion yuan ($2.3 billion) in upgrades and transformation. We have made detailed plans in building more Lighthouse Factories and designing future development," he said.

“2020 年，我們?cè)谏?jí)和轉(zhuǎn)型方面花費(fèi)了 150 億元（23 億美元）。我們?cè)诟酂羲S和設(shè)計(jì)未來發(fā)展方面制定了詳細(xì)計(jì)劃，”他說。

The company began the Lighthouse Factory transformation on 20 factories starting in 2019. Among them, Sany Beijing was the first to complete the transformation.

"The transformation greatly increased the factory's efficiency. Before the transformation, more than 10 people operated the automatic assembly line. Now, only one person is required to operate the line," Dai said.

“改造大大提高了工廠的效率。改造前，自動(dòng)化流水線有10多人操作，現(xiàn)在只需要一個(gè)人操作，”戴說。

During the 2021 China International Fire Protection Equipment Technology Conference & Exposition, Sany Group demonstrated a series of cutting-edge products, including large-span firefighting trucks, water tower firetrucks, remote controlled firefighting trucks, trailblazers, multifunction emergency rescue vehicles, transport robots, firefighting reconnaissance robots, and rescue robot dogs.

在2021國(guó)際消防裝備技術(shù)暨博覽會(huì)上，三一集團(tuán)展示了大跨度消防車、水塔消防車、遙控消防車、開拓者、多功能應(yīng)急救援車、運(yùn)輸機(jī)器人、 消防偵察機(jī)器人和救援機(jī)器狗。

According to the company, its water tower fire truck won the first prize for innovation presented by the China Fire Protection Association.

Zhou Rong, an expert with the Hubei Research Center for Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, said: "Private enterprises are the main force of China's innovative development. They are also an important carrier for gathering scientific and technological innovation elements."

"Giving full play to the important role of private enterprises in scientific innovation can effectively solve difficulties and problems encountered by enterprises in the development process. It can also enhance their innovation capabilities and core competitiveness, and effectively contribute to the overall improvement of China's scientific innovation level," Zhou said.

He added that to enhance innovation, Chinese private enterprises should promote integration between enterprises, universities and research institutes, enhance intellectual property protections, improve talent cultivation mechanisms and build a favorable environment for scientific innovation.

他補(bǔ)充說，民營(yíng)企業(yè)要加強(qiáng)創(chuàng)新要，推動(dòng)產(chǎn)學(xué)研結(jié)合，加強(qiáng)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保護(hù)，完善人才培養(yǎng)機(jī)制，營(yíng)造良好的科技創(chuàng)新環(huán)境。

Tang Dajie, a guest researcher at Wuhan University, said: "To boost scientific innovation, Chinese private enterprises should make reforms to their management system and establish innovation incentive mechanisms. They should also focus on talent introduction and cultivation mechanisms."

武漢大學(xué)客座研究員唐大杰表示：“民營(yíng)企業(yè)要推進(jìn)科技創(chuàng)新，管理體制，建立創(chuàng)新激勵(lì)機(jī)制，注重人才引進(jìn)和培養(yǎng)機(jī)制。”

A market environment for free competition is also needed for enterprises' innovative development, Tang said.

唐說，企業(yè)創(chuàng)新發(fā)展也需要一個(gè)自由競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的市場(chǎng)環(huán)境。
